I’d plans to post about my MacPhersons every week, but life stomped on my plans in a big way. By the way, I’ll be the first to agree that the flu this winter was the worst ever—I can say that because I’ve never had it before and it was horrible, leading to some upper respiratory problems.
That all aside, the next series of the MacPhersons is coming along nicely (if a bit slowly. Hm, maybe I can work in an influenza epidemic into the stories. Maybe not this series, but in the next one that takes place in Texas.) The stories I’m writing now are about four MacPherson brothers that live in Kansas. Angus (named after his grandda) owns the mercantile, his twin Fergus runs the smithy and livery, their baby brother Artis (Art) handles the family farm, and Kerr (who was one of the cousins who guarded Sarah’s house in Colorado) who came back to Kansas and is now the sheriff. This series has a bit more humor and less violence in it.
I hope you come back and read more about my American MacPhersons.
